I still don't really know how big it is. Is it more of a Macan/Q5/X3 competitor (small SUV) or a midsize one like the Cayenne/X5/GLE?

Apparently it’s the only profile for a sport-oriented CUV. That or “coupe” profile.
Now I’ll be looking for this shape everywhere. Thanks a lot...

I have a feeling it is using the Cherokee platform so more like a Q5/Macan fighter.

I know Maser has been using the FCA parts bin a lot lately, but I don’t know if they would go that far. Plus, it’s likely to have transverse engines, which a FWD platform cannot accommodate for.
That said, a Macan fighter seems likely based on the proportions, but I though maybe they were going to be like Porsche and make it larger like the Cayenne.

I dunno for sure about the Cherokee thing, just a guess, but FCA is lazy and I wouldn’t put it past them.

Ah, the Maserati ‘Islamic State of Iraq and the’ Levante. What an odd choice of name.

I’m just did a bit of research and it looks like it’s on the Ghibli platform, which would probably put it on par with Cayenne and X5.

Nah, it’s the Ghibli platform, you can tell by the test mules

Cayenne, FX50 sized. It felt a little bigger than a Cherokee, with a much longer hood.

Nope. No way. It’s got to be the RWD platform under the Quatroporte. This thing doesn’t have the proportions of the Cherokee platform. They’re also not that crazy to use a FWD platform on a car they expect to compete with the Cayenne.

Sounds about right. I haven’t been paying attention to the development much.
